It is the centrepiece of the Au-Hof: the parlour from the old days. A place, completely panelled in wood, where time stands still for a short time and cosiness comes to a halt. With a fine “Marende” and a glass of regional wine, you will immediately feel that this room is something very special.
At the Au-Hof we like to help ourselves and of course we prefer to use our juicy apples. From them we make the hearty Au-Hof apple strudel, the delicious apple juice and much more. We don’t want to give away everything yet, holidays should be a surprise. We are looking forward to you!
They have made the Au-Hof known beyond the borders with their warmth and hospitality. Now the farm is passing on to the next generation. But Lenz & Brigitte will of course always stay on board and look forward to meet you!
In the warm season, breakfast is served on the terrace outside. The view roams through the surrounding apple orchards up to the mountains and back again. A holiday in Merano can be so beautiful.

Wonderful in summer and winter: the outdoor whirlpool. After a strenuous hike in the Merano mountains, just what your tired feet deserve. Or just to get in, is of course also very fine.
We have some ourselves and love them: children. Because it is known that the best place to play is outdoors, we have set up a small outdoor playground. With wooden tractor, slide and an incredibly spacious playground. Who needs Youtube?
The Merano area has countless of them: hiking trails and viewpoints. You will already know many of them. We will gladly reveal the secret places to you. And of course the best tips for the perfect “stopover”. What are you waiting for?
This beautiful spa town: the Tappeinerweg, the historical shopping arcades, the great bars and restaurants outdoors – yes, Merano has so much to offer. But above all this unique mix of Mediterranean holiday feeling and Alpine joie de vivre. Fantastically unique!
When winter comes, it snows on the mountains of Merano. The Merano 2000 ski area becomes a meeting point for active holidaymakers. In addition to great slopes, there are also fantastic winter hiking trails and managed alpine huts in the area. With our farm taxi you can reach the cable car to the ski area in a few minutes.
The rooms are surrounded by greenery and have a wonderful view of trees and mountains. The farm is simple, but absolutely comfortable. Prices are per person including a delicious breakfast from the farm.
